Presented by Jackie Im

Wednesday, July 1, 2015, 7:00 - 9:00pm

The Good Wife, created by husband and wife team Robert and Michelle King, focuses on the life of Alicia Florrick, played by Julianna Margulies. Premiered in 2009, The Good Wife was partly inspired by wives of prominent politicians with sex scandals a la Eliot Spitzer, Bill Clinton and John Edwards, and what their lives are like. Alicia Florrick is the wife of Peter Florrick, whose scandal and subsequent jail sentence forces Alicia to reenter the workplace as a lawyer. Fusing law procedural with season-long story arcs, The Good Wife aims a sharp eye at criminal law, technology and politics, centering the plots around some truly badass female characters.

Refreshments: We'll be serving Alicia Florrick favorites - red wine and donuts. Skirt suits are optional.
